The exhibition was a significant culmination of efforts in just one place. It marked the end of a year-long curatorship at an artist-run space provided by the Union of Artists in Romania and commitment to fostering artistic talent and providing a platform for emerging artists to showcase their work.

Initially starting with the Nucleu 0002 exhibition, the curatorship expanded to include solo and group shows. However, due to time and resource constraints, after one year our approach shifted towards pop-up exhibitions.

The exhibition served as a gathering of both longstanding and new members of the artistic community, showcasing the work produced throughout the year.

One of the objectives of the Nucleu 0000 projects is to encourage artists to produce new works specifically for exhibition, as they would be too busy with their jobs to focus on art, as there were no opportunities for artists that work outside of the cultural space.

By reflecting on the achievements of the past year, the exhibition not only celebrated their work but also served as a platform for discussing the challenges and opportunities facing young artists in the local artistic scene.
